![]() ![]() The only option I had was to find a vendor that still had Windows 7 Pro licenses in-stock. I certainly didn't want to update my entire OS to Windows 8.1 Pro. However when I started the process, I found that Microsoft doesn't sell keys for Windows 7 anymore. The idea of being able to upgrade you license makes sense. When I went to use "Windows Anytime Upgrade" to upgrade the Windows 7 Home Version installed on my laptop to Windows 7 Pro, it seemed like the logical and easy way to gain the ability to join an AD Domain.
